Hello ModernJeepers, welcome to Episode 106 of The ModernJeeper Show… the show about Jeeps, Jeeping and Jeepers.

Matson is going solo this week as Corey & Jessy are on the incredible ModernJeeper Adventures in Death Valley, but they did provide us with a little message that we’re going to share with you. As a solo act, Matson decided to share some news about Moab, about being involved and how he stumbled into the off road industry twelve years ago, including a brief history of Metalcloak’s origins and how you can find your way into the Jeep business too. 

Then we are joined by Chris Carter of Forged 4x4, the phenomenal new company that is following the model of RestoMods and TunerCult by building an awesome 4x4 rig and then giving it away. Forged does it with a twist by adding an entertaining membership program that automatically gives you entries along in conjunction with an eCommerce site selling goods and each purchase nets you more entries. Chris shares with us what it takes to build the rigs, how often they plan on giving one away, what rigs they have planned in the future (you’re gonna love this), how many members are part of Forged 4x4, why he gets emotionally attached to the rigs they build, testing tools and equipment for the sale side, creating a world-class eCommerce store, being overland focused, and the great veteran focused charity that benefits from it all.
