Ep 106: Sabotaging Creativity

Listen Later

Creativity may be one of the most important yet underemphasized practices on which to focus energy. It can help us grow into the highest versions of ourselves and enhance all aspects of our lives. Unfortunately, many of us block our natural creative energy with external distractions and cling to conditioned beliefs that no longer serve our highest potential. Before jumping into creative pursuits, it can be powerful to understand our current relationship with creativity and redefine a more empowering foundation for this relationship in the future. In this episode, we discuss the importance of creativity and foundational blocks, both internal and external.

  • Your relationship with creativity
  • Feminine and masculine energy
  • Logical vs. abstract thinking
  • Balancing planned vs. not planned
  • Being intentional about allowing spontaneity
  • Creative energy stifled by distractions
  • Creativity doesn’t necessarily produce direct results
  • Sharing authentically
  • Playing for creative expression itself vs. the outcome of expression
  • Tapping into creativity will create a different experience
