In observance of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, Cuff and Mo talk with Amanda McLernon, the owner of the social media agency McLernon & Co. McLernon details how she actually formed her own company and the behind the scenes struggles she went through as an entrepreneur that people don't see when they step out on their own. The Wisconsin native also talks about some of the ups and downs she's dealt with throughout the pandemic and some of the trappings of social media that we all need to be aware of when it comes to our mental health. The business owner details some of the initiatives she's apart of in the mental health space and what she does as an employer to make sure the members of her team are taking care of themselves from a mental health standpoint. The episode wraps up with McLernon speaking about the interesting people she would have at her imaginary roundtable and what she wants to see from humanity as we all continue to get more educated about the role that social media plays in our mental health.
