In today’s episode Matt interviews Dr David Lee. David is a clinical psychologist with 20 years experience working within the field of mental health and more recently a performance coach for leaders in business and athletes.

Matt kicks off the show asking a question many have wanted an answer to: why do people struggle starting or sticking to a healthy eating or exercise plan?

You will be pleased to know David doesn’t blame laziness, in fact they talk about very hardworking driven individuals they know who struggle with this aspect of their life.

David  talks about committed action in line with your values and describes the process of defusing from those thoughts and feelings that act as obstacles to those new behaviours. 

This conversation is stacked with practical tips on establishing those new habits and making them stick. There is also some great advice on how to avoid procrastination and how to achieve a better work life balance, which has been somewhat blurred for many this last year.
