What does Amazon actually mean? And what does it mean if somone calls you or another woman for "a real Amazon"?
While we will never find out all the details about the Amazons or who they really were, more and more archeological findings show that there were many female fighters thousands of years ago. Many of them amongst the Scythian tribes. These women could in fact have been the real inspiration to Greek mythology - which has since inspired us over and over again for thousands of years.
