It's true! The world does need your light. Your beautiful, imperfect, battered and recovering light. It can be hard to step into that space and help light the world when we know all our imperfections, but that's what makes us just the right fit. Someone who doesn't have wounds and weaknesses and does amazing things isn't as inspiring as someone who has overcome remarkable odds and does something great.
