In Chapters 21 and 22 of The Lightning Thief, Percy braves the turbulent skies (and an elevator ride to the 600th floor) to return the Master Bolt to Zeus and finally meets his father, Poseidon. Both gods brush off the idea of Kronos returning, but Poseidon says he’s proud of Percy…and that his mother is safely home. Oh, and there’s a suspiciously familiar package waiting for them.

Leaving Sally to handle Gabe her own way, Percy returns to camp a hero, only to be betrayed by a friend. Luuuuuuke! Luke, why would you do this, whyyyyyy?

We made it home! But what’s next for our young hero? A certain peanut butter-loving half-brother, perhaps?
