Alaska is a place of extremes, one of which is the darkness during the Winter Solstice.
In this episode, while all alone in the cabin during the longest days of the year, I talk a bit about the science of the winter solstice, and what it means logistically, physically, and psychologically in the far North, where we tend to feel this time of year pretty intensely.
