Welcome everyone to another edition of the podcast!
Joining us this week as our guest is Hempstead and URI Men's Basketball legend, the one and only Kyle Ivey Jones!
Kyle was a four-year state championship-winning starter for the Hempstead High School Tigers Men's Basketball. He then took his talents to Kingston as he was a member of the URI MBB from 1990 - 1994 when the team would both make the NIT Elite 8 and 2nd Round of the NCAA Tournament. After Rhody, he would make his mark for nearly ten years overseas before returning stateside to the coaching side of basketball.
This week, Kyle and I talked about Hempstead, URI and why he chose them, the NIT Elite 8 season, Al Skinner, the Archie Miller Era, playing overseas, coaching, his legacy, the PC rivalry, the A10 Conference in the '90s, and much more!
Don't forget to subscribe below as well as, leave a like, turn on notifications so you don't miss anything, as well as share this episode with your friends and family.
I'd like to thank Kyle for coming on this week and speaking with me as our guest! We both had a lot of fun and I know you'll enjoy this episode as well!
