After the Devil of Hell's Kitchen's second season released, the Netflix corner of the MCU was on a bit of a downturn. While there were fan-favorite highlights such as Luke Cage Season Two and The Punisher Season One, others such as the former's first season, Jessica Jones Season Two, all of Iron Fist, and -- arguably most disappointing of all -- The Defenders, it seemed like this side of the MCU was doomed to fizzle entirely. When the Man Without Fear's third season was set to come out, many worried it would suffer that same fate. Probably why it was all the more surprising that it not only turned out to be the best season of the show, but arguably the best season of live action comic book television overall.
