Growing a Business with young kids is possible

“Let  your kids be part of your business... let them see you reaching towards your goals .”

Cari Higham

Cari Higham and her husband have built a  business that brings in a multiple six-figure income. They also stay-at-home parents raising their three small children.

Cari is from a teeny town in the middle of Utah. She and her husband both found themselves losing everything, their jobs, and eventually their house. Someone that they knew introduced them to network marketing and they realized that they could actually create a life of freedom for their family. They moved into her parent’s basement and started talking to friends and family, but after six months they had no recruits, no customers, and no distributors.

“It wasn’t until we actually invested in ourselves, found a mentor, and started learning some skill sets that we actually started getting results.” - Cari Higham.

Finding someone to show you how to build a business is a mindset shift that a lot of network marketers never make because they think that whatever their company is telling them to do is that they should do. It’s amazing when you find other mentors, especially when they are mentors in different industries, you learn the skill sets that actually create results.

Finding a mentor changes your mindset. It really just comes down to making a decision and making a choice in your brain that you’re going all out. You’re going to bet on yourself and literally, you can change your life with that.

Just because you’re putting the focus on your business, doesn’t make you a bad mom. And just because you take your focus and put it into your kids, doesn’t make you a bad business owner.

It’s important to be a time blocker. Having a calendar to schedule your family activities and events along with your business meetings and obligations makes it easier to stay organized and focused. The biggest thing is not allowing yourself to feel guilty for building your business.

Don’t feel like you can’t have your kids be a part of your business. Having them run in and out of a Facebook live, if you need to bounce your toddler on your knees to keep her happy while you do a live, it’s okay. It’s actually a good thing for your business because people relate to that and they feel like they can do it too.

“When you’re trying to bring in people, the more real you are, the better it’s going to be.” - Cari Higham.

Let your kids be part of your business. They will grow up thinking so differently because their parents are entrepreneurs. There won’t be a limit to what they can do. Cari does trainings three times a week on Facebook and is always offering different things for people to help grow their business.
