Alvin and German conduct a great conversation with the Founder and CEO of Black ink Communications, Joy Harrington, '99. Black ink Communications is a project management and professional services firm based in Washington, D.C. She also serves as the vice president and general manager of Knighten Health, a woman-owned firm that creates and delivers accredited, high-quality medical education for physicians and patients. After graduating from Colgate University, she received an M.A. in Medical Journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Joy is Harrington is a trained journalist and has won awards for her work. She has written for The Well, Essence Magazine, the Los Angeles Times, Nashville Tennessean, and Newport News (VA) Daily Press.
