Nel Laygo is the chief executive officer and founder of Peddlr Philippines Inc., a mobile application developed by a startup company located in his homeland Eastern Visayas. Peddlr helps MSMEs in managing inventory and bookkeeping, especially that the app features digital ledgers and storefronts for businesses. With Peddlr, starting online businesses or even businesses with physical stores can be managed thoroughly in different aspects—sales, inventory, accounting, and reports through just mobile devices. What makes it even better is that Peddlr works offline and can function without the internet. Earlier this year, Peddlr raised US$4.3 million in the seed funding round led by Crestone Venture Capital and Patamar Capital along with the existing investors Kaya Founders, Foxmont Capital Partners.
