Kellita is an artist and a healer. She is the showgirl shaman of the Showgirl Awakening. She married her own need for healing with her love for dance and burlesque to create a unique container. And she has been sharing her medicine with women all over the world.
We speak about co-dependence and embodiment. How specificity in our creative process can help us see ourselves. And that our true identities were not being reflected by our families due to the many narratives and stories passed on from one generation to the next.
The topic of sexual trauma is spoken about and how this is like a “drip-drip” trauma rather than a “boom boom” trauma. And how this prevents us from being fully in our bodies more often than not.
