EP: 12 Orphaned in Taiwan: Relearning What’s Normal

Listen Later

Jenna is a young professional living in Seattle with an incredible story. She was orphaned at birth in Taiwan and then adopted by a family in Miami, Florida. She loves to travel and to form deep connections. In this episode, Jenna and I discuss what “normal” was for her growing up in an orphanage and how that changed when she came to the U.S. We bond over questions like, “what is love? what is family?” One of my favorite highlights is when she tells the story of how her birth sister’s best friend was adopted by a family down the street!

If you love our mission to stand against division one authentic connection at a time, please consider leaving a donation to help us to empower us to continue traveling the U.S to capture these amazing stories! Support the American Discovery Tour Here!
