Unfortunately I did not learn the concept of playing Win/Win until late in my life. As an athlete, I was always taught to win, sometimes at all costs. It was self serving and lacked the true embodiment of being a winner. I took this mentality I had learned into business and didn't know why I wasn't winning. The win/lost mentality has got to go. Playing Win/Win in all areas of life, including sports and business, will help you reach greater levels of achievement and success.
