This is the origin of our national cuisine, which equally considers both nutrition and the pleasure that comes with eating. For tourists who come to Serbia, going to restaurants to try specialties such as ajvar, gibanica, kajmak, vešalica, pljeskavica, kiflice, or Vasina torta, is an unavoidable part of visiting Serbia.

Serbian ethno-tourism is becoming increasingly popular among foreign tourists who remain enchanted by the vivid nature and customs of Serbia. Although located in the heart of Europe, Serbia is one of the few countries in the world that can still offer healthy, clean, and tasty food, as well as exotic rural locations to appeal to tourists looking for a vacation away from civilization, urban life, and technology.
