On this episode of ‘Network Outdoors The Podcast’ Brandon Malson speaks with avid outdoors women, NWTF Hunting & Fishing R3 Coordinator of Michigan, Jen Davis!
Jen shares her story of how she went from not hunting and being intimidated by firearms to now dedicating her career working full time with the National Wild Turkey Federation heading Hunting & Fishing R3 (Recruitment, Retention, Reactivate) programs all over the state of Michigan. She dives into how investigating where her store bought food came turned into learning about hunting, shooting sports, foraging, processing and cooking wild game, non-profit work, conservation efforts, hunter education for women, youth programs and getting parents involved, multi-state collaboration efforts, on the ground wild turkey habitat work, fundraising for specific programs, a wild out of state hunting story, subspecies behaviors and terrain usage, and much more!
