Yes, the word "defense" is in quotation marks in the title of this episode because, contrary to our predictions going into the 2024 Saints season, it's hard to say exactly how much "defending" actually took place when the offense wasn't on the field...So, through that lens, we continue our 28 to 3 Pod Saints Season Recap and grade the defense's paper. Spoiler alert, consensus is they were light years away from the honor roll - a couple of us may even recommend they repeat a grade. Either way, they're still our team, so we did the dirty work in this one and analyzed the issues, discuss some of the good that came through at times, and debate what needs to be addressed going forward, including whether we saw anything - or any player - that could serve as something to build on from here.
