In the late 1700's the American people were in a fight for their freedom from the British empire.  Things weren't going super great and the whole thing was hanging by a thread. A lot of stuff was going to have to go right for the Americans and that meant they would need great leaders.  The man we're talking about in this episode was not one of those leaders and would actively work to bring the American war effort to an end.  He was just the worst, and we're here to tell you all about him.
