First of all as a recruiter I can tell you 90% of the time no one reads your cover letter (just one of the reasons I hate them)

But there are situations where they can be helpful and where you can't submit your application without one.

So if you need to write one make sure its a good one (spoiler... it doesn't need to be a page long). You can thank one of my listeners for this episode as she wanted to know more about a good Cover Letter.
