We are constantly influencing and being influenced by others. How responsible and mindful are we in this regard? Are we manipulating and being manipulated? Whether unconscious or conscious, what is our hidden agenda? Even between like-minded friends, there is typically some underlying motive at play during interactions. The desire or tendency to influence is egoic. Therefore, if we want to live more authentically, it is important to be as aware as possible of how we influence and attempt to influence others.
