In this episode I speak with a mother who was prescribed medication instead of traditional talk therapy to deal with trauma. The prescribed mix of antidepressants and benzodiazepines turn her life upside down. She suffers years of debilitating withdrawal symptoms and is faced with a difficult decision in order to give her daughter a better life.
