Had a chat with frequent The Voncast Show guest Susy about her current FB ban situation and what Shang-Chi meant to us and most likely for other Asian Americans. At first I was hesitant to watch the movie because it didn't have any Avengers or any other big Marvel characters. Im glad I saw it. The movie exceeded my expectations. We share how we related to some themes that were prevalent in Asian American culture. *WARNING: THIS EPISODE HAS SHANG-CHI SPOILERS* We also discussed how the movie made us feel and how, in our eyes, this movie was great representation for Asian Americans in media.
