How to Become a Master Delegator 

Managing two people, a dozen, and even a hundred can be as hard as a rock, especially when you are on your own. For Bobby, you can miserably manage some people if you don't delegate.

Bobby recognized that he needed to improve as a leader. So he did that by mastering the true meaning of delegation, which is to trust his team more in their work and decision-making to help them develop a sense of responsibility and ownership in everything they do.

Here are more tips for becoming a master delegator:

1. Re-evaluate how you look at your team - Delegating isn’t just about throwing all your unwanted tasks to your team. Delegation means allowing your team members to stretch out their abilities as part of Employee Development. When you allow people to grow by delegating to them, they feel trustworthy, which helps them be more confident in what they are doing.
2. Think of your work as a tree - The most crucial part of a tree is its roots; in terms of tasks, roots are equivalent to the core tasks in your workload. Essentially, you must distinguish between root tasks that you must complete solely and stem tasks that you know other people can do and delegate to them. Later on, you'll see that by trusting and allowing your team to do those tasks, you were able to help them grow more leaves as a sign of their level of growth.
