Picking up from where we left off in the previous episode, which is about the second step of Leadership Pipeline: Recreating Trust, Adam will talk about the third step, which is Enrolling People in Possibility. This is part of an ongoing series to the pipeline that leaders move through when they want to basically create reinvention of the leadership for themselves and the organization to go from an industrial era kind of managerial approach to a transformational leadership approach, an approach where creating something beyond the existing paradigm and what that allows for. Think about the process as a circle that feeds around it by itself rather than a straight line because it is a cycle to tackle blind spots along the way.
Moving through, Adam will put more sense into what possibility is -- it is everything outside of what already is and everything outside of what is predictable from the current paradigm -- in the context of transformational leadership. He will touch on the three things about the leader in this step: not taking on the earlier steps, no access to possibilities themselves, and expects staff to take in what is in front of them, to further explain how to enroll people in possibilities given the scenarios. He also talks about the importance of enrolling the leader first and keeping an open mind to possibilities before enrolling others which is co-created. He will share more of his insights in this episode.
