Rhea Pechter is a children's book writer, illustrator, SAHM to 3 kids, wife, and podcaster. She is the genius behind Little Stories for Tiny People which is a children's story podcast. Her stories are adventurous and quirky, with a common theme of helping children to understand their feelings and have empathy for others.
"Stop waiting for other people to give you the go ahead. Make the leap on your own!"Rhea has become very protective of her time and learned the value of saying NO. Some of the things she does NOT do include volunteering at her kids school co-op, keeping a pristine house, or spending a lot of time on social media. She has also really become comfortable in her role as a parent and no longer googles everything about parenting. Lastly, she has learned to let go of mom guilt in her life which was just occupying too much mental space.
We talked about starting podcasts and figuring it out as we went along. I used a guide Start Your Podcast by Jacey Verdicchio which I would highly recommend to anyone starting a podcast
