Dr. Cuello is a professor of agriculture and biosystems engineering and the director of the Global Initiatie for Strategic Agriculture in Dry Lands at the University of Arizona. He has designed and built many systems in these fields; inluding hydroponics, tissue culture, the industrial mass production of algae, and bioregenerative space life support. His career includes postdoctoral research for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center.
