This week, we review Scott Barry Kaufman's book, Ungifted. The book refutes traditional views of intelligence and how labels stemming from these views have detrimental effects on our youth. Ungifted ends with a new definition of intelligence based in research in cognitive, behavioral, and neuropsychology. I review the book and attempt to draw implications for changes in our modern educational system.
