THE MOVIE SPIDER-MAN 2 OWED EVERYTHING TO!
Superman: The Movie was generational. So much so that Donner and the Salkinds saw it preemptively and had a sequel made in tandem with the first! Unfortunately, despite the promise of a release the year after, the highly-anticipated sequel was delayed to 1980 in light of Donner being fired and a lot of the movie being reshot. After many years and public demand, his cut wouldn't release until 2006, making do with camera tests and newly-shot footage to fill out the blank spots. So, how did it fare? Tune in to find out as Brian and Alec continue the Supermanathon with Richard Donner's (close-to) original cut of SUPERMAN II!
