Not many expected the Saints to win their season opener, even with it being in the DOME and spruced up by the gold jerseys and gold endzones, BUT...it would be safe to argue the team looked pretty competitive even in a losing effort - or, at least, more competitive than many thought they'd look. Question is, do we agree? Just like any loss, there was plenty in this one we can pick at or take issue with, but there was also some good things to take away from it, much of which was the reason we even had a chance to tie (or win) it with the last play of the game.
