Ep. 155: February 8th in the 90s | Happened In The 90s
Happened In the 90's hosted by Steve and Matt picks a day, any day, and then goes back in time to that magical decade we all know and love the 90's, to revisit episodes of tv, movies that premiered, or cultural events that occurred on that day in the 90's.
This week Steve and Matt go deep on video games. Which is better: Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat? They also talk about their love of those 16 bit comic book games. Spider Man, X-Men, maybe even a Batman here or there.
After that it's time to win the high score in Skip It cause we're talking all things February 8th in the 90s.

Show: Family Matters
Episode: Life of the Party (Season: 2 | Episode: 18)
Premiere Date: 02/8/1991
Story: At Maxine's rooftop party, Urkel shows everyone how to "Do the Urkel." But it may be his last hurrah; Willie Fuffner, his pride still stung from losing to him during a boxing match several weeks earlier, offers Urkel a peace offering - a glass of punch. Only he doesn't tell him it's spiked with whiskey. A drunken Urkel staggers around the rooftop, which is good for a few yuks ... until he tumbles off the side of the roof and finds himself clinging to a clothesline for dear life. Rachel manages to save the day, and Willie and his buddy, the dim-witted Waldo Faldo, find themselves in jail.

Show: Howard Stern Channel 9 Show
Episode: Superbowl Girls (Season: 3 | Episode: 5)
Premiere Date: 02/8/1992
Story: Howard Stern gives the viewers some insight into what his Superbowl parties are by bringing in some lovely ladies that partied with him on his radio show. Then an audience Q and A with the King of All Media.
