With a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Amanda worked in higher and elementary education before joining the Utah Pride Center.
She is passionate about inclusion and social justice. Amanda focuses on making homes more accepting and welcoming for youth and families, and making schools and community spaces more inclusive for all. Her work educates people in the state about the incredible LGBTQIA+ community.
During our conversation, Amanda talks about how we can be better allies and loved ones to LGBTQIA family members and the community as a whole.
