You all know that as proud Millennials, Ashley and Liz like to use this podcast as a way to take us all back.

So picture it. It’s 2004. You’re reluctantly reading some book your English teacher assigned. Maybe it’s The Great Gatsby, Fahrenheit 451, or Brave New World. You want to like it, you sort of do, but between the New Found Glory concerts and sneaking away to Warped Tour, it’s hard to focus. So you watch the movie version that gets wheeled in on the media cart during a school day with a substitute, and then realize years later that those books actually changed your entire brain chemistry.

Follow along as we talk about our top five books that made us in highschool and choose one to reread (and watch!) with you! We also have a nostalgic fave and fail highschool concert edition, and we end on our signature unhinged smash or pass, with a buff tree and a pirate!
