During this episode, the FC discuss the use of the phrase “it’s not that deep”, looking into it’s dismissive nature and potential to invalidate someone else’s feelings. The conversation moves onto an in depth discussion addressing instances of mistreatment of black businesses. Lastly, they briefly discuss how they feel about an alternative way to discipline children, which provides them with a safe space to cool off and recharge, before next steps are taken.
