This one gets deep. Titanic deep. For me at least. I rant about my experience with working the 4th Step “We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.” This involves writing an inventory of resentments, fears & wrongdoings I have as far back as I can remember. I dreaded this step before I even started working a program. I think I was afraid of being accountable & what is buried in my subconscious. The type shxt that I wanted to forget by using and drinking. The purpose is to bring light to these memories, see how it affected me and my part in it. The more positive part of this step is writing one paragraph for each redeeming quality I have. I also talk about how I feel before writing out this inventory, during, after, what I learned and more.
