ep 17. how to smash our ambitious goals right now!

Smashing our ambitious goals comes down to smashing our daily minor but impactful decisions 80% of the time. Similar to the 80:20 rule, which we usually use when talking about our nutrition, as long as we can make positive decisions the majority of the time - we can get closer and closer to being en route to smashing our big goals. When we make marginal improvements in our lives, we retrain our bodies and minds to become disciplined at carrying out positive habits. The more we get conditioned to these positive small habits , the more likely we are to be able to accomplish bigger goals in life. This process is slow , unlike a temporary fix where we make our selves start a habit our bodies initially oppose. When we go 0 to 100 with our habits - our bodies and minds create resistance because it’s too big of a shock to our system. But if we can break this down to sizeable chunks, we can create healthy momentum which will avoid burn out , stress and demotivation. Instead we end up fostering compassion, patience and progress.
