In this episode we discuss the myths and facts of the mental health system. In particular we share some of the common misunderstandings and myths of mental health. I also give some of the facts that counter these myths. Also, we give a good description of the different types of mental health providers including therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists. We also talk about the different mental health settings (inpatient, private practice, etc.) and discuss different scenarios when to seek mental health services. Our hope is to keep the general public informed about topics and concerns within mental health and brain science.
