Ep. 17: Why Following All the Success Strategies Doesn't Always Work

Listen Later

If you love learning about personal development, you've probably heard some of the advice around all the different success strategies - wake up at 5 a.m., take cold showers, create the vision boards, have a purposeful morning routine, structure your to-do list to get the most done in the least amount of time, use these time management hacks....

And I talk about these things too! All the time! Because they're powerful and valuable and they can work! If they're in alignment with your goals, your purpose, and the season you're in...

But before you jump on any "strategy bandwagon", you need to be very conscious of the seaon you're in, your specific goals, what you're trying to accomplish, and what it actually looks like to be your highest, most aligned self.

And beyond that - even deeper than that - who you are as your truest, most authentic self. Everyone likes to talk about being their true authentic self, but how many of us actually know who our true authentic self is?? If you strip away your job, your relationships, your roles, the things you do and the way you interact with the world because of something you were taught, modeled, or believed you were supposed to do - who are you beneath all of that? Because that's where you really need to start.

And if you'd like a FREE copy of my new printable journal to help you reconnect with your true authentic self, all you have to do is leave a written review on Apple Podcasts or Spotify, screenshot your review, send it to my DMs (linked below!) with your email address, and I'll email you a printable copy of my new 30 day journal FOR FREE! (And if you want a hard copy of the journal, it will be available for purchase on Amazon very very soon!!)
