I’m so excited to have a long-time friend, Amanda Zigterman, join me to for our 2nd episode in the self-care series.
As a self-proclaimed dabbler and master of nothing, Amanda strives to be a confident and empowered woman who empowers other women. In reality, she spends a lot of time calling out what she considers to be unrealistic societal expectations - mostly surrounding being a woman and a mom. Her husband, friends, and therapist hear a lot.
Amanda has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in higher education. After 17 years, she left higher ed and now serves as the Director of Billing and Operations for a group of pathologists. She had zero medical background when she started and has learned a lot in the last 4 years. She jokes that another reasonable title would be group mom.
In addition to the doctors, she has two boys- 15 and 12. She loves being a mom to older children who can tell her what they are thinking and put themselves to bed.
Someone once described Amanda as “someone who does the right thing on purpose” and she has never felt more seen. Tune in to hear more from Amanda on self-care!
