Jesus Christ gave a command that is profoundly powerful: "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:34-35) To serve each other - not for our own satisfaction but the help of the other - is not intended to be purposely conspicuous, but by nature of its very being in a selfish world, it will be. This is the way the Church is to meant to impact our world: loving service no matter what.
