The struggles of the Christian life can sometimes lead to frustration and fear. The doctrine of the perseverance of the saints is God’s reassurance of our purpose and preservation amid the struggle. This doctrine teaches us that no matter what might happen, God deeply cares about His children and will do anything to protect them for his glory.
