Since the start of the Israel/Hamas war, anger has grown over the lack of Charedi participation in the army and other parts of society. The call to enlist the ultra-orthodox has been met with riots and a threat by the Chief Sephardic Rabbi that Haredim will leave the country if forced into the draft.

The Quad speak to two Haredi women - Dr. Nechumi Yaffe of the Real-Time Facts think tank and  Pnina Pfeuffer of the New Haredim party who are calling for change from within the community. They discuss what Haredi Street is saying and if Oct. 7th is the crisis that will forever change Israeli society and its ultra-orthodox population.
