Joshua led the Israelites into the promised land and his first stop was Jericho. The Commander of the Lord's army visited Joshua and Joshua humbled himself before Jesus. The Lord declared victory over Jericho and had Joshua celebrate the victory around the still intact walls of Jericho. God wants us to view our life in terms of His accomplishments and victory, rather than our own struggles and battles. Jesus has given us victory since He rose from the grave.
