This is our first look at Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas! We dive into our main character Celaena Sardothian’s life as the most successful assassin in the country of Adarlan - she unfortunately was caught and sent to the prison camp salt mine of Endovier - but she has a chance at redemption when the Crown Prince Dorian, along with his BFF Captain of the Royal Guard Chaol Westfall, come to her with a proposition. A contest to become the King’s Champion AKA personal assassin. If she wins, she can earn her freedom, if she loses, it's certain death! We go along for the ride as Celaena enters the competition and spends her first few nights in the castle, getting to know both Dorian and Chaol. We also meet the creepy King, the dastardly Duke Perrington and the loathsome Lady Kaltain. Celaena is in for a wild ride, that's for sure and so are we!
