I've always been very fortunate to make my own decisions in my career, but that's not always the case for everyone. Today I spoke with Robin Merle about her experience with an involuntary exit and how she turned that moment into something more. Robin Merle, CFRE is the author of the award-winning book, Involuntary Exit, A Woman’s Guide to Thriving After Being Fired. She has been a senior executive for billion-dollar nonprofit organizations and raised more than a half-billion dollars during her 35+ years in the field. Robin has been Vice Chair of National Philanthropy Day in New York 3 times, served on multiple nonprofit boards, and was named Woman of Achievement in 2017 by Women in Development, New York. Robin iSus proud to be a graduate of the first class of women at Rutgers College. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa and went on to earn a Master of Arts from The Johns Hopkins University and publish short fiction in various literary magazines.
