Today I speak with my new friend Lori Oberbroeckling who is a fellow leader in Corporate America, mom of 4 kiddos and founder of several side hustles. On paper, you look at her resume and I just feel TIRED but what I love about my conversation with Lori is that 1) she practices what she preaches 2) is super real, honest & candid and 3) shares her own thoughts around how as moms we can have our cake & eat it too based off her own experiences.
More about Lori in her own words:
Lori Whitney Oberbroeckling is passionate about helping moms who want fulfilling careers–or side hustles or passion projects–while also wanting to feel present and connected to their families. She believes that moms can have an extraordinary home, an extraordinary career, and be extraordinarily happy at the same time. Lori wrote Secrets of Supermom: How Extraordinary Moms Succeed at Work and Home & How You Can Too! to share tips, strategies, and quick wins for moms that want it all.

Today's conversation with Amy Looper is one I think many working mothers can relate to - the feeling of working mom guilt which can, at times, lead to working mother burnout. In our conversation, Amy and I touch and unpack a lot of vulnerable topics - identify as a working mom, burnout and being perfectly imperfect as humans.

Today I chat with my new friend Megan Moran, Founder of The Mompreneur Guide. We chat about so many things: identifying & following your passion(s), taking leaps. What I loved the most about our conversation is that we come from such different backgrounds, her a 3rd generation mompreneur and me from a background of stability and yet, we still found so much to connect about.
About Megan:
Megan Moran is not only a mom to two beautiful babies under 3 (Jack + Sophia) and a wife to the most supportive husband + business partner ever, Collin, but she is also the owner of The Mompreneur Guide. As a Podcast Host, Template Shop Owner + Authority-Building Guide, Megan is on a mission to help momprenuers increase their visibility, get their names out there, create a movement and build a community and world around them... in the simplest way possible. Because as a third generation momprenuer- she knows how possible a both present + productive lifestyle can be.

In today's solo episode, I dig into where I've been over the last few months and the decisions I've made...the biggest one the decision to go back to corporate a few months ago. During the conversation, I shed light into the context behind my decision, as well as the mindset shifts I needed to make in order to get there. Because while at the end of the day, while I did decide to go back into the corporate setting, I did so on MY terms and it's been really fun to see how that feels aligned at the moment - both from a career & family perspective.
As always, I hope you enjoy!

Today I dive into all things grey with Mae Wagner. Mae is just one of those humans you could talk to all day. She is open and authentic and lives in curiosity and non-judgement. She opens up about how she was able to live in the grey and find forgiveness of her abusers - not an easy task and often controversial. She is just a wonderful human and I know you're going to eat up this conversation just like I did!
More about Mae: Mae Wagner is an author, podcast host, speaker, and trauma navigation mentor. Mae currently lives in western Pennsylvania with her husband, loveable golden retriever, and their rescue tabby-cat.

Today I spoke with Robin Merle about her experience with an involuntary exit and how she turned that moment into something more. Today I'm sharing the episode that I did with Heather Chauvin for her podcast, Emotionally Uncomfortable. In this conversation we dive into a story that I have yet to share in detail and dig into the 'not this. not this. not this' voice that is so often so easy to ignore (or is that just me?).

Today I have a treat of a conversation for you! I talked with Nneka Hall about all things advocacy - the good, the bad and everything in-between. Nneka so generously shares her story about the lost of her child who was born stillborn due to undiagnosed preeclampsia and how that experience changed her in ways to begin to speak up, share her story & advocate for change.
More about Nneka in her own words:
Nneka Hall is the mother of four (2 Sunshines ages 21 and 16, an Angel baby who would be 11 and a Rainbow who is 7). In 2014 she founded Quietly United in Loss Together (QUILT) Campaign which is a Pregnancy And Infant Loss Awareness campaign designed to raise awareness of all types of loss from conception through a child's first two years of life, teach healthy fertility through womb health education, provide support to families who suffer these losses and provide support for memory programs so they won't close due to inability to afford supplies.
