Gregory Iron sits down with his brothers Mike Honcho & Zach Thomas to remember their dad Dwane Smith, who passed away after a long battle with cancer on December 15th.

 

The brothers reflect back on their favorite memories of their father, his secret love of pro wrestling, the accident that led to the discovery of his cancer, the fight to get him treatment without health insurance, the emotional note that dad left, and their final conversations with Dwane. Greg, Mike & Zach also discuss how they are dealing with the grieving process, the book that helped them come to terms with their dad's last days, and how others can try and cope with loneliness and regret during the holidays.

 

Greg also talks candidly with Aaron Bauer about getting the call about his father passing in hospice, what it's actually like setting up a cremation and actual options offered, and the unintentional hilarity and weirdness that came along with a priest in those final moments with dad.
