Whew, do I wish I had been more open to hearing this truth SO much earlier in my journey. I spent decades wanting to be seen but never wanting to admit I had those needs. I would pour into people, into projects and work longer than anyone - just so I could feel like I'd done enough to rest, relax and maybe even have some fun.

It wasn't until I was deep in burnout that I learned how crucial this one thing is to the human condition, in particular for healing from perfectionism burnout.
