Dr. Meivys Garcia thought that she would become a doctor, get married, have kids and look after them .... and life would be that simple.  As a fertility doctor, she had NO idea she would become someone that needed fertility help, herself!

In this episode she gets real and shares her truths including the shame she felt, how she kept her difficulties to herself and didn't feel she could share her fertility struggles with her co-workers, people who helped others with fertility issues. The truth is, no one is immune to challenges which includes infertility. Dr. Garcia embraced her struggles without shame and eventually opened up, got assistance and had 2 children, one at age 33 and one at 40. We are grateful that she is talking about this with us to help and hope that she inspires and empowers you as much as she did us.
